Instead it came up with a screen that said:ġ.Go to steam streaming settings on your computer It still can't scan for computers but when I click 'other computer' it does not ask for an ip address. I uninstalled the steam link app and reinstalled it and now I have a strange issue. Then I had my first problem yesterday, the pc said offline when it wasn't. I actually couldn't believe how well it worked on chromebook. Network discovery apparently doesn't work on chromebook, but I was able to click other computer and immediately it asked for the ip address of the host pc, I inputted it, then it wanted me to put the pin into that pc and it all worked fine, for a few days. So, a few days ago I used the steam link app for the first time to connect from my chromebook (using the app) to my desktop.
